Fairy Nuff
Read Miss C's post today, her Ex wants to meet to say how sorry he is that he basically treated her like crap (at least in the end. oh, and on Valentines day, oh and at least several other occasions, not that I'm pointing out that the guy was a jerk or anything ;).
Thing is, she doesn't feel like giving him the self satisfaction of telling him she forgives him and "it's all ok", which i think is fairy nuff. He just doesn't want that on his conscience only because his relationships since haven't exactly gone how he planned them and he's the one who's now left all alone (apart from a stalker that is...)
Oh how karma works some times is just priceless....
So I got the first of Miss C's Christmas presents yesterday and I decided to give it to her early. The reasoning behind this was 2 fold. Firstly, I knew that there would be plenty of times that it would have come in handy well before Christmas. The second is that I got this feeling, you see, both her and I are so in tune, so in tune that we finish each others sentences, say the exact same thing (and I mean RANDOM things, things that you wouldn't even find scripted into an episode of friends) and that sort thing. So this feeling boiled down to "Oh dear, I know she's going to be thinking the EXACT same thing". So I had to give it to her early or risk the fact that there'd be 2 of the same present sitting under the tree.
So last night, when my sweetness came round, I presented her with her first present. She opened it, having no idea what it was (she thought it was a flute hehe) and was surprised to find a collapsible pool cue and hard case :)
Now I was expecting an almost 'practical' enthusiasm to the gift but I got much more. She was really excited and had that mischievous look on her face that said "hehehe, I have a pool cue".
I liked that.
I was glad that I gave it to her early because just as I suspected, she had been looking at buying me a pool cue of my own, THAT VERY DAY even!
So that was last night, gave her a present, we had salad and teriaki pork steaks for for dinner and then cuddled up and completely forgot about the strawberries we had for desert. We ended up having something completely different for desert in the end.
So this morning I arrive to work to find 2 more packages awaiting me at reception. A gift for me and another 2 (count them people!) gifts for Miss C.
I have a feeling it's going to be a great Christmas :D
It's a beautiful day out there today too, glad I wore summery clothes today, I think I'm going to go out and sit in the sun at lunch, wonder if my sweetness wants to join me....
