Sultans of swing and Sharks of pool...
Well today didn't start off the best, woke up tired, could have stayed in bed all day really, well maybe if I had woken up with someone next to me I could have...
It was a kind of Bleh morning as well, groggy in the head, trouble concentrating on something, yes I know, sounds like any other workday but no, a bit heavier than that.
But it's after lunch now and things are looking better. I've had lunch, watched a bit of 'Flightplan' on my MP3 player and feel a lot better than I was this morning.
I've installed and had a little play with Scorched Earth #D, an updated version of a classic tank game. Adjust the height and direction of your tank's turret, set the velocity and try and nail other tanks. A lot of fun, and the new version even has network ability so you can play with other people, er, um,,, at work? ;)
I heard from Miss C that she went out to lunch with her friend and found a Christmas present for me! Yay! how cool is that!
Now I can't wait to find out what it is. Luckily there's only 50 days till Christmas so I THINK I'll be able to hold out, no promises...
Tonight me and my sweetness (screw the grammar checks) are going out for a cheap n cheerful dinner and a few games of pool, with our new cues no less!
Hopes we have some good games and that they prove a hit. They're really nice cues so I hope they improve my game ;) nothing else seems to be at the moment...
So yes, now I'm counting down the hours, waiting for work to finish so I can go off and play pool with my love. I might try and initiate a network game of Scorched Earth with Alan hehehe......
I know there were other things that I had to blog about, like my painting which is coming along nicely, my sweetness who is sweeter with every passing day and the myriad of other things that make up my waking hours but I'm still a little foggy today so I'll leave that to when I'm feeling more myself.
