One of those days
One of those weeks even, weird mix of ups and downs.
So.
Monday I was sick and tired, literally not figuratively. Stayed at home, did bugger al, couldn't really concentrate on much at all.
Tuesday, just another day ending in y, the only thing of any note was that I received another Christmas present for my sweetness. I think that's everything that I've ordered so far so it's looking good.
Wednesday, not too bad a day at work, was still glad when it was over. wednesday night I went to salsa practice with my sweetness and V. V was crazy happy again as usual, she was rather happy with her Bday presents, a fine selection of carefully selected $2 gifts from whitcoulls and a weird little birthday card that said something to the effect of 'may each year be a feather on the glorious chicken of life' very weird, kinda funny.
Salsa practice was better than last week, we went over what we'd learnt again and I picked up some of the moves a bit better than last time and then when we got on to the partner moves that we hadn't done before, I wasn't too bad. They were pretty easy but I think I did ok. V and Miss C seem to think so, so it's all good :)
Next Wednesday is the 'point of no return' where we have to commit to doing the Cuba St Carnival or not. I'm a bit apprehensive but I'm thinking I will. It's all good fun.
And today has been a mixed bag, woke up tired, my own fault, didn't get enough sleep.
It's actually improved as the day has gone on, and it's going to be even better tonight because i gets to see my sweetness again. Don't quite know what we're doing yet but I don't particularly care, as long as we're together it's all good.
Tomorrow! tomorrow afternoon is the work Christmas party. We're all off to syn bar for beer, pizza, and pool.
It should be a laugh, at least there's pool there, work is paying, and it's not work.
Well that's a short post, not particularly interesting but I thought it was about time to post, got to keep in the habit of posting.
