Its the final countdown, do ne nuu nu do ne nuu nu nuuuuu....
It's ebbing closer and closer to Christmas people, I sure hop you've got all your Christmas shopping done, it's only a matter of a few short weeks to go!
I admit I haven't got ALL of my Christmas shopping done yet, I still have to order a couple of things, and grab a few stocking fillers but that's it. Nothing I can't handle, and nothing I have to wade thru the hoards of last minute shoppers for (thank God!)
If there's one thing I hate about the Christmas season it's the hoardes of zombie shoppers.
All those people, shuffling along like the undead, until they see what they're after (brains for zombies, festive ties with little led lights for the morons) and then they go into a frenzy, and God help you if you get in between them and their prize!
So Anyway, here's the weekend in review:
Friday night I went to the work Christmas party. It was ok, sucked a bit because I couldn't invite my sweetness along, not that she could have come anyway, having prior plans for the weekend anyhow.
Saturday was a rather productive day, pottered round the hose cleaning, sorting, very domestic type stuff really. I got a lot done and it was such a beautiful day to boot.
Sunday I went out on the boat with dad, helped him pump the bilge and a few other things, then later in the afternoon I went with him up to the farm.
I hung round there for 3 or 4 hours, said hello to my cats, talked to mum etc, the usual stuff you do when u go home.
The it was off to Fishermans table for a family dinner to celebrate my aunt's birthday.
It was quite a nice evening and was enjoyed by all.
Monday was, well, monday. I did get to see my sweetness first thing though, she needed to drop her car off for some work so I lent her mine. Then I got to see here straight after work 'cause she picked me up on the way to pick up her car :)
And THEN she came round later on as well and we spent most of the evening together which was nice, not having seen her for the entire weekend!
And that brings us up to today. It's pretty average so far, STILL waiting for my glasses, waiting to hear back about my CC application, waiting till I find just the right amp on trademe, waiting to see my girl next.....
Well, back to work now, things to do and not a lot of time left this year to get them done. I must make a list of things to do before Christmas and hurry up and start ticking them off....
