18 sleeps to go till the jolly fat man comes and drinks my beer?
At least that's what Polly tells me, she was singing that this morning. It's kinda her thing you know, like Goldmember from Austin Powers painting people's "u-ho's" gold.
It's definitely the run down for the year now, the home stretch. To illustrate that, I sat on my bed last night and started watching the Simpson's. I awoke 25min later to hear the end credits...
I then got a txt from my sweetness and I walked down to Courtenay Plc to meet her for some dinners :)
We had some really nice Chinese, the broccoli had this sauce on it that was really tasty. I could have eaten a whole head of broccoli with that sauce. It was goood.
We were going to head off to play some pool afterwards but we were both just too out of it to enjoy that so we headed back to my place and did nothing much for the rest of the evening. It was nice (apart from some leaping).
Yesterday I found a vodafone special for a $99 phone and managed to grab one for C's friend :) they were originally $299 so it was quite a good deal. I also found a really good cellphone number 0211 870 870! But my 'cart' expired while i was shopping for this stuff online and I couldn't get the number back. THEN, 5min after I bought them, the number appeared as available online! Arse. I was almost going to buy the simcard pack just so that I could give it to someone I know who was in need, when that actually occured.
I'm listening to ZM right now and they're getting people to ring up if they're on a short leash or if they have someone on a short leash. One girl rings up and says she has her partner on a short leash and then starts stating what the deal is. She found some naughty txt's on his phone so she broke it. Now she's broken 6 of his phones, she TIMES him when he goes to the dairy or anything like that, she lets him go out to his mates but she has to go too, to make sure there's nothing dodgy, she checks up on him at WORK, she's a psycho. Polly and Grant were just too polite to say anything, well Grant did say he was scared of her.
Man, there are some crazy people out there huh.
I'm glad I have my sweetness and she's crazy like me so that's all good ;)
Oh well, back to work for now, gotta make the moneys to live, oh, and to buy the Christmas presents....
