Culmination Day

Yesterday was a day where everything started coming together.
Here's a quick run down:

We were going to throw out some old laptops at work yesterday but Jim and I ended up spending a good part of the day making 2 good laptops out of all the crap and the best news is one is for Jim and the other is for me :D
Nothing says yay like a free laptop, especially when it's not half bad.
Secondly, I ordered my girl's main Christmas present :D (which has arrived this morning :D )
I also ordered my cousins Christmas presents too, some of which have arrived today, others will be arriving next week.
I got my new glasses :D They're quite nice too, still getting used to them though, almost getting vertigo some times :S
My new CC application got approved and will be waiting at the Lambton Quay branch on monday for me to go get! yay! I can finally get rid of the EVIL card that is my AMEX. The new one is a mastercard with LOW interest so I can use it to make big purchases and pay off as I please :)
I got myself some really nice clothing while out at lunchtime with my sweetness, some really nice shirts, some cool black shorts and some cream pants, very smart (yea I know I shouldn't be buying myself anything this close to Christmas but I might give someone the pants or something to give to me, people HAVE been asking so it's only fair ;) )
After work yesterday my sweetness and I went out to Westfield and found her a really cool retro top and a nice skirt :) Good day for all!

After all that excitement we went back to my place and talked for a while, then both got to bed at a reasonable time. I think it's helped, I wasn't quite so tired this morning.

So I'm sitting here eating my savory scone, drinking my drinking yoghurt with happy thoughts in my head and a TGIF Friday has just begun.
